Our goal is to help individuals and organizations bridge the gap between where they are and where they want to be. Fostering healing and joy by inspiring transformation, implementing systems, improving outcomes, to create lasting behaviour change using the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA).
Our Story
Healing Joy Behavioural Services started in 2023 with a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about helping others. Two powerful words highlight our vision - “Healing” and “Joy”. Healing - indicates “mending”, gaining strength, getting better, recovering. Joy is more than just feelings of great pleasure and happiness, it is life-defining, and transformative power. It is that feeling of peace and contentment even when things are not what we want them to be and the comfort of knowing that things will get better.
Our president is a Clinical Psychologist and an Applied Behavioural Therapist. She collaborates with other trained Applied Behaviour Analysts to provide evidence-based ABA services. The team in Jamaica, has trained over 8,000 teachers on the Government- funded island-wide Positive Behavioural Interventions and Supports (PBIS) project for schools across the Island. Additionally, she provides interventions to individuals, churches, and other organizations.
