Deidre-Ann Mills, JP., MSc., BSc., BA., is a Clinical Psychologist, an Applied Behaviour Therapist, and a Change Specialist. She is the Founder, President, and CEO of Healing Joy Behavioural Services, which provides evidence-based consulting services, training, coaching, education, assessment and behaviour modification intervention to organizations and individuals of any age using Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) modalities.
For the past six years she has been providing evidence-based consulting services, training and therapeutic behaviour modification intervention programs to organizations and individuals. While ABA is recognized as an effective treatment of Autism, ABA is effective wherever behaviour exists. Her passion is to see the principles of ABA utilized in as many sectors as possible to enhance the lives of individuals. She is persistent in achieving her goal of imparting knowledge and training others in the field of ABA.
The Jamaica Theological Seminary employed her as an Adjunct Lecturer in their bachelor’s level ABA program in 2018. In addition, Miss Mills served as a Training Consultant on the Government-funded island-wide Positive Behavioural Interventions and Supports (PBIS) training project for schools across Jamaica. This project was a contract signed between The Ministry of Education Youth and Information and the Jamaica Theological Seminary.
Deidre obtained a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Psychology from Bangor University, Wales, United Kingdom; a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management and Sociology from The University of the West Indies, Mona; and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) from the Jamaica Theological Seminary.

Dr. Carol Mills Kamara is a down-to-earth psychotherapist and trauma specialist who fosters trusting relationships with her clients. Using proven modalities, she helps youths and adults with depression, anxiety, trauma, spirituality, and relationships. Carol is culturally competent, promotes mind-body-spirit wellness, and guides clients toward purposeful, joyful lives.
She is a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker working as a clinical supervisor and psychotherapist with children and adolescents in the New York state child welfare system and with adults and couples in private practice. She is also the founder of Healing Joy Wellness, Inc., and Healing Joy Psychotherapy.
Dr. Carol earned her doctoral degree from Alliance University (formerly Nyack College) – Alliance Theological Seminary where she studied leadership, ministry and the intersections of ministry, trauma, and spirituality. Her doctoral dissertation, titled Do No Harm, Trauma-Informed Lens for Trauma-Informed Ministry, focuses on the intersectionality of trauma and ministry and how to create higher levels of trauma awareness and implement trauma-informed practices in organizational systems.
She also holds a Master of Divinity degree from New York Theological Seminary; a Master of Social Work degree from Fordham University; and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from City University of New York (CUNY) – York College. Her professional development includes various professional evidence-based training and certification in trauma and behaviour change modalities.
